India, Aug. 27 -- Kammattam is the first Malayalam original web series on Zee5 (also on OTTplay Premium), which releases on the platform on September 5, pushed ahead from its earlier August 29 plan. An investigative crime thriller based on real events that unfolded in Thrissur, Kerala, director Shan Thulasidharan put together a 6-episode show in only 11 days, which, he explained in an interview with OTTplay was down to micro-planning, having experienced technicians on board and cramming his cast with filmmakers, who'd understand the value of time.
