India, July 5 -- Films set in a dystopian future are dime-a-dozen in Hollywood, but it's not really a subject that's oft explored in Indian cinema. There are a few like Aditya 369, Matrubhoomi A Nation without women, Jil Jung Juk and Kalki 2898 AD. Kaliyugam, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, directed by debutant Pramodh Sundar was the latest entry in this rather short list. Released in theatres on May 9, the film, starring Shraddha Srinath and Kishore in the lead, opened to middling reviews and is now set to drop on OTT.
