India, Aug. 18 -- Hayden Panettiere opened up about motherhood, addiction and her relationship with daughter Kaya in one of her final interviews, offering a deeply personal account of the struggles that shaped her life before her death at 36.
Struggles With Motherhood
Panettiere said she did not experience the immediate emotional connection with her newborn that she had expected. After Kaya's birth in 2014, she battled severe postpartum depression and described feeling emotionally disconnected, a struggle that later affected her ability to care for her daughter.
