India, Sept. 3 -- Filmmaker George Lucas is set to open the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, a long-awaited project that places comic art, illustrations and popular storytelling alongside works by some of the world's best-known artists.
More Than a Star Wars Showcase
The museum will open to the public on September 22, with Star Wars occupying only a small part of its vast collection. Visitors will encounter a Naboo N-1 Starfighter in the lobby and an opening exhibition featuring iconic vehicles from the film franchise, including Luke Skywalker's landspeeder and speeder bikes.
