India, Aug. 30 -- Ek Chatur Naar, crooned by Kishore Kumar and Manna Dey, featuring Mehmood as a feisty neighbour to Sunil Dutt in the movie Padosan, is a classic Hindi face-off song nobody can come close to. Half a century later (the movie released in 1968), the song remains undefeated even as Divya Khossla Kumar and Neil Nitin Mukesh try to seek inspiration from the OG track for their movie, which is titled Ek Chatur Naar itself. The title track of the film, releasing on September 12, has dropped, and not only does it ruin the original track, it even tries to shred memories of it with cute dance moves. In short, the new version just doesn't work.
