India, Sept. 22 -- Akshaye Khanna's exit from Drishyam: The Conclusion just seven days before filming forced director Abhishek Pathak and his team into a frantic rewrite, recasting and production overhaul. Despite the disruption, the makers decided to proceed with the shoot as scheduled.
Akshaye Khanna's sudden departure
Khanna, who played IG Tarun Ahlawat in Drishyam 2, left the third instalment in December 2025. Reports at the time cited creative and monetary disagreements, although the specific circumstances remained undisclosed.
