India, July 24 -- Chris Anne Boldt, a dedicated public school teacher and mother to Academy Award winners Ben and Casey Affleck, died on June 2 at the age of 83 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
A Final Wish Fulfilled
Boldt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2025 and provided with a six-month prognosis. Her primary goal following the diagnosis was to witness her grandson's high school graduation. She achieved this milestone on May 31, 2026, surrounded by her family, before passing away peacefully in her sleep two days later. The Affleck family officially announced her passing on July 23.
