India, Oct. 13 -- Bryan Cranston has paid tribute to his Breaking Bad co-star RJ Mitte following Mitte’s death at the age of 34, according to a report published on Oct. 13, 2026. Cranston, who played Walter White, shared an Instagram post mourning Mitte, who played Walter White Jr., and said it was “especially devastating to hear that he took his own life.”

Cranston said he posted a picture with Mitte on Monday and wrote that he was “in deep despair” as he shared the news of Mitte’s death. He recalled meeting Mitte when he was 14 years old and cast as Walter White Jr.
