India, Aug. 19 -- It was on the set of Ekka that Arun Sagar was told about the upcoming web series Shodha and offered a pivotal role in it - that of a cop. "I've played cop in plays, but never onscreen. Also, if you look at my career graph as an actor, it is very rare that I have been given a serious role. In my initial days, I had done a role in Sunil Kumar Desai's Marma, after which I have hardly ever got to do another serious character. So, when I got the opportunity in Shodha, I knew that I had to take it up as a challenge and do justice to it," said Arun, who plays a senior police officer called Bhairava.
