India, July 8 -- YRF Spy Universe's latest action feature, Alpha, achieved an unexpected 10 percent increase in domestic revenue on its fifth day after enduring a steep 70 percent drop during the start of the week.
Surprising Recovery After Monday Slump
The spy film, headlined by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, collected Rs4.25 crore net on Tuesday, raising its five-day Indian total to Rs42.10 crore. This recovery followed a lackluster Monday where earnings dipped to Rs3.85 crore, momentarily losing ground to benchmarks set by previous hits like Gangubai Kathiawadi. Interest surged during Tuesday's night screenings, which recorded a healthy occupancy rate of just under 30 percent.
