India, July 29 -- Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has clarified that he is not associated with Tumbbad 2, stating that his involvement ended with the 2018 original and that the sequel is being developed independently by its current makers.
Rai distances himself from sequel
In an exclusive interaction, Rai said he has no creative or production role in Tumbbad 2. While he was one of the producers of the critically acclaimed original through Colour Yellow Productions, he emphasised that the sequel is not a project he is working on and that he has no stake in its development.
