Dhaka, June 2 -- The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been reduced. For June, the retail price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been cut by Tk 55 and set at Tk 1,885. The price of autogas has also been reduced.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new prices on Tuesday.

The retail price of privately supplied LPG has been fixed at Tk 157.60 per kilogram. Accordingly, the price of a 12kg cylinder is Tk 1,885. In May, the price of the same cylinder was Tk 1,940.

The price of autogas has been reduced from Tk 89.50 per litre to Tk 86.93 per litre, a decrease of Tk 2.57 per litre.
