Dhaka, May 31 -- The prices of octane, petrol, and kerosene have been increased for the month of June. The price of each fuel has been raised by Tk 5 per litre. However, the price of diesel remains unchanged.

The new prices will take effect from Monday.

A notification regarding the revision was issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the notification, the retail price of diesel will remain unchanged at Tk 115 per litre. The new prices have been set at Tk 145 per litre for octane, Tk 140 per litre for petrol, and Tk 135 per litre for kerosene.
