Dhaka, Aug. 9 -- The price of Jet A-1 aviation fuel has been increased. The price has been set at Tk 159.52 per litre, including customs duty and VAT, for domestic flights, while the price for international flights has been fixed at US$1.0358 per litre.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced the new prices, which will come into effect from Monday.

Previously, the price of Jet A-1 fuel for domestic flights was Tk 130.99 per litre, while the price for both domestic and foreign airlines operating international flights was US$0.8556 per litre.
