Dhaka, April 28 -- The previously shut unit of the Adani Group's power plant in Jharkhand, India, has resumed operation. As a result, electricity is now being supplied to Bangladesh from both units. Power from the restored unit began feeding into the national grid at around 7:45 pm on Monday.
According to sources at the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), electricity supply dropped by প্রায় 700 megawatts after one unit went offline due to a recent mechanical fault.
