Nepal, March 12 -- Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in several parts of the country today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The division said the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as those of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, will remain generally cloudy. The remaining areas are expected to see partly cloudy skies.

Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, as well as in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
