Kathmandu, May 31 -- TikTok influencer Tulsi Adhikari, better known as Tulsa Adhikari, has been arrested and brought to Nepal after being detained in Thailand with the assistance of Interpol.

Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra of the District Police Range, Lalitpur, confirmed her arrest. "A case involving fraud, criminal breach of trust, and money laundering has already been filed in court," he said. "She was arrested in Thailand after a Red Notice was issued and subsequently brought to Kathmandu."

According to police, a case was filed in March against Adhikari and 10 others on charges of defrauding Rs65.2 million by allegedly threatening to file a rape case under the pretext of a consensual relationship.
