Palpa, Dec. 12 -- Three people have died in a jeep accident at Mityal of Nisdi Rural Municipality-4 of Palpa on Friday. The accident took place at Ekalfoksing near Chyuribas on the Mityal-Arunkhola road section in Nisdi-4. According to police, eight people were injured in the accident.

The District Police Office, Palpa, said that the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3908), which was travelling from Arunkhola in Nawalpur towards Rampur in Palpa, met with an accident on Friday.

As per the preliminary details, three people died on the spot. Their identities have not yet been confirmed, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hom Prakash Chaudhary of the District Police Office, Palpa.
