Salyan, Sept. 28 -- Three people died and two were seriously injured in a minibus accident in Salyan on Sunday morning.

The minibus was travelling to Dang from Rukum West when it crashed near Chorkhola in ward 3 of Kapurkot Rural Municipality along the Rapti Highway. A woman and two men died at the scene, while two others were seriously injured.

According to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, information officer at District Police Office, Salyan, the deceased are 27-year-old Prakash KC, Shashidhar KC, and 68-year-old Pavi KC. The addresses of the deceased are yet to be known, police said.
