Kathmandu, Nov. 4 -- The Supreme Court and the Kathmandu District Court administrations have lodged a complaint with the police over the arson and vandalism that occurred during the Gen Z protests.
According to Superintendent of Police Pawan Bhattarai, the Kathmandu District Police Range has registered the complaint and begun an investigation. Police had already been looking into the incident before the complaint was filed.
The attacks on September 9 caused damage to 23 courts nationwide, including the Supreme Court and Kathmandu District Court. Ten courts suffered destruction, nine were partially damaged, and four sustained minor damage. Despite the damage, most courts have resumed judicial services.
