Sunsari, July 30 -- The curfew order imposed across 10 local units of Sunsari will remain in force throughout Thursday, as the district administration continues efforts to resolve a standoff with the family of the man killed in the Dewanganj violence.

The District Administration Office said the curfew, which came into effect from 9pm on Tuesday, would remain in place for the entire day.

Officials said the security situation has gradually improved, but the restrictions have been extended because authorities have yet to reach an agreement with the victim's family.
