Kathmandu, Sept. 22 -- South Korean mountaineer Um Hong Gil is set to arrive in Nepal on Wednesday to lead a relief mission for communities affected by the August 26 floods.

Um, chairman of the Um Hong Gil Human Foundation, will oversee relief activities in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Gorkha and Dhading through October 1, according to a statement issued by the foundation on Tuesday.

The foundation said it would focus on remote areas that have been cut off by damaged roads and have received limited humanitarian and medical assistance.
