Kathmadnu, March 6 -- The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in 77 constituencies across the country in early vote counting, securing its position as the frontrunner in the ongoing parliamentary elections.

Nepali Congress has won one seat and is leading in eight others, while CPN-UML is ahead in seven constituencies.

Nepali Communist Party candidates hold the lead in six constituencies.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Shram Sanskriti Party are leading in one constituency each.

A total of 67 political parties are contesting nationwide for 165 seats under the first-past-the-post category. Counting is ongoing.
