Nepal, July 20 -- Majid Ansari is a law student and legal activist who has been actively advocating for the constitutional rights of evicted squatter settlers. His advocacy led to the registration of a Supreme Court writ petition 082-WO-1237 challenging the government's management of displaced families. On July 11, following heavy inundation at a holding centre in Kirtipur, Ansari and his fellow activists visited the site to observe the relocation of the settlers, only to face immediate resistance from state authorities.
