Nepal, July 26 -- The Nepali Congress has decided to end its governing alliance with the CPN-UML in all seven provinces. With the party moving to break its partnership with the UML and explore new political alignments, provincial power equations are set for another major change.

The fallout from growing disagreements between the Congress and the UML leaderships at the centre over the future of their provincial alliance became visible on Wednesday.
