Kathmadnu, Feb. 12 -- The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has imposed a prohibitory order in and around the Tribhuvan International Airport premises after some groups and political parties announced plans to stage a protest on February 13.

The order, effective from Thursday for one month, bans gatherings of more than five people within the airport premises.

According to the order issued by Chief District Officer Ishwarraj Paudel, the restriction applies from the Golden Gate entrance to all roads within the airport premises, including the domestic and international terminals and parking areas. Sit-ins, hunger strikes, demonstrations, rallies and public assemblies involving more than five people have been prohibited.
