Kathmandu, Feb. 11 -- President Ramchandra Paudel has urged the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) to conduct investigations and prosecutions free from pressure or influence.

Speaking at an event to mark the 35th anniversary of the constitutional anti-corruption body on Wednesday, he emphasised that the Gen Z movement was for good governance and should not be forgotten.

"Without transparency and good governance, democracy cannot reach people's homes," he said, calling on the commission to investigate all forms of corruption.
