Kathmadnu, March 30 -- Police are likely to begin recording statements of former prime minister KP Sharma Oli and former home minister Ramesh Lekhak from Tuesday, according to a police official.
Police proceeded after obtaining court approval to keep them in custody for five days for investigation.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa, the Kathmandu Police Chief, investigators are gathering additional evidence, focusing on the report of the commission formed to probe the September Gen Z movement.
"They have been arrested to implement the report, and accordingly, recording their statements will likely begin from Tuesday," he said. "Investigating officers are making the necessary preparations."
