Oman post 306-run target against Nepal in League 2 clash
Kathmandu, April 29 -- Oman posted a commanding total of 305 for 8 in their 50 overs against Nepal in the 99th match of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Oman built their innings around a century from captain Jatinder Singh, who struck 130 off 96 balls with 15 fours and five sixes. He anchored the innings through the middle overs before falling in the 35th over.
Oman made a steady start with an 80-run opening stand between Jatinder Singh and Ashish Odedara. However, Nepal struck back through Sandeep Lamichhane, who dismissed Odedara for 23 and Aryan Bisht for 35, finishing with 2 for 24 in his 10 overs.
