Kathmandu, June 15 -- The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a marginal gain of 0.47 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, closing at 2,657.32. The benchmark index edged up by 0.01 percent compared to the previous session.

After consecutive declines in the past two trading days, NEPSE ended in positive territory, albeit with a minimal rise.

Of the traded companies, share prices of 90 increased while 157 declined.

The session recorded 95,374 transactions, with 25,393,762 shares changing hands. The total turnover reached Rs11.44 billion, slightly lower than Thursday's Rs12.51 billion.
