Kathmandu, June 2 -- The second season of the Nepal Kabaddi League (NKL) has been postponed indefinitely due to operational and technical challenges, league organisers said.

In a statement, the organisers said preparations were underway to make the tournament more organised, secure, technology-driven and aligned with international standards. However, they said several unavoidable operational and technical issues had emerged, making it inappropriate to proceed with the competition before they are fully resolved.

The organisers said all players selected through the season's draft process would retain their places despite the postponement.
