Kathmandu, Aug. 20 -- Nepal secured their second consecutive victory in the Top End T20 Series, defeating Melbourne Renegades Academy by 33 runs at Cazalys Arena in Palmerston, Northern Territory, on Wednesday.

Having beaten Hobart Hurricanes Academy by 66 runs on Tuesday, the Rhinos carried their winning momentum into the fixture against the Renegades.

Batting first after winning the toss, Nepal posted 139 for nine in their allotted 20 overs. Kushal Malla top-scored with 29 off 22 balls, hitting a four and a six. Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 27 from 28 deliveries, while Lokesh Bam added 24 from 16. Bhim Sharki made 17, and both Aarif Sheikh and Rupesh Singh chipped in with 12 runs each.
