Nepal beat Scotland by six wickets to climb to fifth in League 2
Kathmandu, May 18 -- A century partnership between Ishan Pandey and captain Rohit Paudel guided Nepal to a six-wicket victory over Scotland in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Monday.
Nepal chased down 195 in 38.1 overs, reaching 195-4 after Pandey and Paudel added 104 runs for the third wicket.
The victory was Nepal's third win over Scotland in four League 2 meetings and lifted them from seventh to fifth in the standings with 22 points from 27 matches. Scotland remain top with 38 points from 31 games. The top four teams from the eight-team competition qualify directly for the World Cup Qualifier.
