Kathmandu, April 30 -- Nepal and Portugal on Thursday discussed expanding cooperation in trade, labour, investment and digitisation during high-level meetings held in Kathmandu.
Portuguese Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Isabel Xavier, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, held talks with Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and separately called on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal.
During the meetings, the two sides reviewed various aspects of Nepal-Portugal relations and expressed satisfaction over growing engagement, particularly after the first meeting of the Nepal-Portugal Bilateral Consultation Mechanism held in Lisbon in February, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
