Kathmandu, July 24 -- Two teenage sisters who had been reported missing from India have been found dead in Bhaktapur, according to local authorities.
The girls were discovered hanging from the same rope in the corridor of a house where they had been staying in Sintitar, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-9.
The deceased have been identified as Menuka Kandel (17) and Sirjana Kandel (15) of Panchapuri Municipality-8, Surkhet. They had been living in a makeshift room on the ground floor of a two-storey house owned by local resident Niraj Chakradhar.
