Kathmandu, Aug. 26 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said preparations for Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's upcoming China visit are in the final stage. Oli is embarking on an official visit to China on August 30 to take part in the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the "SCO Plus" meeting in the Chinese city of Tianjin, from August 31 to September 1.
He is scheduled to travel to Tianjin, China on a chartered flight of Himalayan Airlines, accompanied by a small team, according to officials.
This will be Oli's second visit to China since becoming prime minister for the fourth time in July last year. Earlier, Oli went on an official visit to China from December 2 to 5, 2024....
