Kathmandu, Sept. 26 -- year-old man died after a landslide buried his house in Baglung district on Friday night, as heavy rain continued to disrupt life across Nepal on Saturday, inundating settlements, triggering evacuations and blocking roads in several districts.

Man Bahadur Roka was sleeping on the porch when the landslide came down from above and buried him in Dhammer, Tarakhola Rural Municipality-5, police said. He died at the scene. His father, Salle Roka, was away at his daughter's home and was unharmed. Roka's wife and children lived in a separate house.
