Kathmandu, Sept. 15 -- Kantipur Max Television has secured exclusive broadcast rights in Nepal for the 20th Asian Games, which will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Preliminary sporting events are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, with the official opening ceremony set for Saturday.

"Kantipur Max will broadcast the Asian Games live, with Digo as our digital OTT streaming partner," said Mahesh Swar, chief executive officer of Kantipur Media Group.

"We remain committed to showcasing international events involving Nepali athletes. Broadcasting Nepal's performances on domestic television marks a historic moment for sport in our country."
