Bajura, March 8 -- Janak Giri of the Nepali Congress has been elected to the House of Representatives from Bajura.
Giri secured 17,173 votes, defeating Lal Bahadur Thapa of the CPN-UML, who received 16,633 votes.
Hemraj Thapa of the Rastriya Swatantra Party came third with 6,035 votes.
Prakash Shah of the Nepali Communist Party finished fourth, securing 3,424 votes.
