Kathmandu, Dec. 23 -- The inquiry commission investigating the September 8-9 incidents has lifted travel restrictions imposed on former home secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi, former inspector general of Nepal Police Chandra Kuber Khapung, and former Kathmandu chief district officer Chhabilal Rijal.
The commission informed the Home Ministry of its decision on Tuesday, stating that the movement ban had been removed after completing their interrogation.
Earlier, the commission had barred them from leaving the Kathmandu Valley without approval as part of the investigation process. The restriction, imposed on September 28, required the officials to seek permission before leaving the Valley.
