Kaski, Nov. 6 -- The Gandaki Province government has announced sweeping cuts in administrative expenses to free up around Rs2 billion for reconstruction of public infrastructure damaged during the Gen Z protests in September.

The Cabinet meeting held on October 28 decided to partially or completely suspend spending under several recurrent budget headings, including vehicle purchases, official travel, hospitality and furniture procurement.
