Chitwan, Oct. 23 -- Four people were killed in three separate two-wheeler crashes in Chitwan during the three days of the Tihar festival, the District Police Office, Chitwan said.
A youth died late on Tuesday after his motorcycle crashed in ward 2 of Khairahani Municipality.
Police said the bike went out of control on an inner road. The rider, believed to be 22 or 23, was taken to Bharatpur Hospital and was pronounced dead at around 1:15am. His identity is yet to be confirmed, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanaal said.
On Sunday night, a motorcyclist died after hitting a parked gas bullet truck in the same ward of Khairahani Municipality.
