Kathmandu, Sept. 24 -- Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal has sought increased international support for Nepal's recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction following the devastating Bhotekoshi disaster, while calling for stronger global cooperation to address the growing impacts of climate change.

Khanal made the remarks during a series of bilateral meetings and multilateral engagements on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

During a meeting with Reem Alabali Radovan, Germany's Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, at UN headquarters, Khanal thanked the German government and people for their sympathy and solidarity with Nepal.
