Kathmandu, Aug. 23 -- Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba paid a call on Vice President of Vietnam, Vo Thi Anh Xuan, who arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Xuan arrived in Nepal earlier in the day on a three-day official visit at the invitation of Nepali Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various dimensions of Nepal-Vietnam relations, as well as matters of mutual interest and cooperation. Minister Deuba congratulated Vietnam on its rapid economic growth, noting that other countries could draw lessons from its development trajectory, according to a press note issued by the minister's secretariat.
