Exhibit review: Painting the rhythm of Kathmandu's festivals
Kathmandu, Aug. 11 -- Gallery 108 is showcasing 'UTSAV: In the Rhythm of the Jatra,' a solo exhibition by visual artist Pradip Kumar Bajracharya, through Sunday, August 23.
Based in the Kathmandu Valley, Bajracharya draws extensively from the region's festivals, rituals and living traditions. His works explore how these cultural practices shape collective memory, identity and a sense of community, translating the rhythms and visual richness of traditional celebrations onto the canvas.
