Dang, April 29 -- The upgrade of the 40-kilometre Dhankhola-Lamahi road section along the East-West Highway has officially begun, marking a key infrastructure milestone under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Nepal Compact.

Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya laid the foundation stone on Wednesday, formally launching the road rehabilitation works. The project is part of the MCC-funded Road Maintenance initiative implemented through MCA-Nepal in coordination with the government.
