Biratnagar, July 28 -- Most schools and colleges in Biratnagar remained closed on Tuesday due to security concerns following the incident in Kaptanganj of Sunsari's Dewanganj Rural Municipality-3.

Educational institutions suspended classes amid concerns over possible security risks and disruptions to school bus operations.

A resident was killed after security forces opened fire while trying to control a clash between two groups in Kaptanganj on Sunday night. Nine others were injured in the incident. Protests were also held in Biratnagar on Monday following the violence.
