Dhangadhi, Feb. 18 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party senior leader Balendra Shah, widely known as Balen, on Wednesday said his party is seeking an opportunity to deliver results in Sudurpashchim Province rather than merely collect votes.
Addressing an election gathering in Dhangadhi, the party's candidate from Jhapa-5 argued that the concerns and identity of the far west must gain space in Kathmandu before meaningful change can follow.
He told voters that even if they choose not to back his party, they should hold it accountable by presenting clear priorities for development. The party, he said, would work in the region regardless of electoral outcomes.
