Lamjung, Nov. 4 -- The Annapurna Circuit trail, which was blocked by last week's heavy snowfall, has reopened for trekkers.

According to officials, the route was cleared through the combined efforts of the District Administration Office, security personnel, local representatives, the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), and hotel entrepreneurs. Snow was removed using bulldozers and labourers between Khangsar and Mananggaun, reopening lower sections of the trail. In the high-altitude regions, local representatives and hotel operators worked together to clear the paths.

The snowfall had forced both domestic and foreign trekkers heading toward Tilicho and Thorong La to return. With the weather improving, tourist movement has started...
