Kaski, Nov. 5 -- A total of 31 police offices in Gandaki Province were damaged during the protests on September 8 and 9, with Kaski suffering the heaviest losses. Three major police units in the district-the District Police Office, the District Traffic Police Office, and the Ward Police Office in Bagar were destroyed.
Weapons were looted from two of the units, though police have not disclosed the number. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Tul Bahadur Karki, spokesperson for Gandaki Province Police, incidents of arson and vandalism were recorded in police offices in Kaski, Tanahun, and Nawalparasi East.
